Ark Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi -ROUTE INN HOTELS-

They let you leave your luggage at the hotel after check out! I was very surprised about that because most places that are affordable don?t allow that. Also I loved that there was a washer dryer and it was cheap?less than $5 in total to do your laundry.

Nothing to complain about!

Great location great amenities and very friendly staff

If you're traveling to Japan just be very prepared for extra small rooms no matter where you go

Great location with subway station just outside their entrance. Breakfast is simply delicious with many choices. Room is very clean and has just exactly enough space for 2. They have toiletries always available at the lobby.

15-20 minutes walk to dotonbori but not a big issue

Very accommodating staff, good breakfast and location is near the Shinsaibashi shopping street.

Good hotel for the price. Very convenient location, right next to the metro station. The room had everything I needed.

The room felt outdated and could use some renovation. The room smelled of smoke even though it is a non-smoking room.

My stay at Ark Hotel was amazing. The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is 100%. Dotonbori is on 10 minutes walking distance.

Everything was perfect.

The location of the hotel is really good: 10-15min by walk to Dotonbori and just by the Nagahoribashi metro station. Perfect for a solo traveler.

The room on the 6th floor by the ice vending machine can be loud in the evening...

Location is convenient to major train lines in Osaka. The staff is nice and is able to help with anything you would need.

The hotel is a little dated in terms of the feel in the lobby and common areas. There is also a musty smell in the hallways. The room, however, is fine. It's a little on the smaller side, so I don't recommend staying here unless you're visiting alone. Water pressure wasn't the best.

The hotel is in an excellent location and not far from public transportation.

The beds were uncomfortably firm with very little padding. One of the rooms had a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. Both rooms also showed visible wear, including peeling wallpaper and one with an exposed Ethernet cable along the floor.

The property is conveniently located just above a subway station and within walking distance of tourist attractions, restaurants, and convenience stores. Staff were very friendly, accommodating, and honest — they even contacted us to return an extra amount they had mistakenly charged. The room was spacious, and we appreciated the option to skip room cleaning for a few days in exchange for free drink tokens.

We booked a non-smoking room but noticed traces of smoke smell upon arrival. The room was equiped with an air purifier and air freshener, which helped the odor lessen over time.

The staff was nice. Check in was simple. The room was clean and had enough space for me. The location was great and convenient. Everything was good.

Nothing much to complaint. Just one thing. The pillow was not good for me. It was flat and had beans in it. I did not like the feel of it.

I liked that the hotel was very near the train station and about 10-15 minutes walk from Shinsaibashi. The room is comfortable for a solo traveler. They provide many amenities for the guests as well.

The walls are thin and I can hear other showers turn on in nearby rooms and noise from the rooms above. If you are a sensitive sleeper, it might affect you.

Nice location clean room not very spacious but enough

Bed is not comfortable very flat and hard. Pillow is terrible

The hotel is a nice budget one if you are a few days in Osaka. Just make sure to choose the proper room type because if you are not a smoker and you get a smoking room you will feel the smell. Location is good

The cleanliness can be improved a bit, and the option of smoking rooms maybe should be canceled

It’s close to different Metro and about 10 mins walk yo Shinsaibashi line.

Bed is rock hard. It’s very uncomfortable

The size of the room is spacious. Supply of toiletory is of good quality.

Bathroom is relatively small and the exhaust fan is loud.

The breakfast is good though they should have fresh fruits. Location is excellent. It is next door to Nagahori train station.

The housekeeper does not clean up the room. No emptying of trash bin too. Only clean towels are given on a daily basis. They only clean up after the guests check out.

Very good

Beds were quite uncomfortable. Pillows had THAG bean bag type material with the balls inside but nothing too major.

They give every day fresh towels. Comfortable office desk in the room.

They are crazy about cleaning. They force you to allow them to clean your room. So, if you want to have privacy - forget it. I've heart once like the cleaning lady was knocking into the neighbor door to clean that room at 8 am! So, the walls are not sound proved.

Amazing location, lovely staff, great value for money. Just tiny, the description was accurate but I didn’t anticipate such a small bed.

Bed too small.
